The exposition of Twilight includes the breathtaking characters Bella and Edward. It takes place in a small town called Forks. In the exposition, Bella moves to a new school, in a new town and utterly despises it! However, her initial attitude toward the new school changes when she meets the mysterious Edward in chemistry class. She immediately falls head over heels in love. Edward, the handsome yet peculiar boy, also starts to notice Bella and makes attempts to talk to her. The rising action takes place when Edward rescues Bella from a near death experience (getting hit by a van) and exposes his feelings for her. As a result, they both fall in love and secretly start dating. The climax arises when Bella discovers the true identity of her boyfriend: he is a vampire! In spite of this, their love remains stronger than ever. Luckily for the couple, Edward\u2019s family of vampires is very open-minded about their relationship. In fact, they are thrilled by her presence because they have not seen Edward this happy in years. Nevertheless, love stories are rarely perfect from beginning to end\u2014Twilight being no exception. One unfortunate day, while Bella plays thunder baseball with Edward\u2019s family, a group of bloodthirsty vampires passes by and tries to kill her. The falling action comes about when Bella is lured into a trap set by James, the head of the coven, and almost dies from severe injuries and a vampire bite. Fortunately, Edward comes to save her from James and rushes her to the hospital in time. The resolution of the story transpires after he safely escorts Bella to the hospital. After her recovery, all of their lives return back to normal. Needless to say, Bella and Edward are still a couple and the story ends wonderfully with the two going to the fall formal together.<br \/>\n<br \/>\n\u00b6 Thoroughly described and absolutely captivating, the main characters are as followed. Bella, an average teenage girl with very little self-confidence, moves a new school and hates it terribly. She begins dating a blood-drinker (aka vampire) named Edward. Edward, strange yet stunning, is very courageous and has a charming way with words. Unlike other vampires who feed off of humans, he and his family rely on animal blood to satisfy their hunger. The main setting of the story, where most of the important events take place, is in Forks. Forks has a big impact on the main characters because this is where they live and attend school. Likewise, the setting also affects the plot because this is where Bella and Edward meet and fall in love. <br \/>\n<br \/>\n\u00b6 Twilight draws me in from the moment I started reading! The first thing I like about this book is its cover; I like how it illustrates all of the main characters so that as I am reading, I could see what they look like. I also love the strong use of imagery and descriptions throughout Twilight. Stephanie Meyer does an outstanding job incorporating many details into her writing; I can practically sense how the characters think and feel. In fact, I enjoyed this book so much that I plan on reading its sequels New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn in the near future.
